- How do I catch Aetherlings?
- In battle, tap Bag → Essence Orb. Lowering the wild creature’s HP first improves your chances.
- How do I evolve my creatures?
- Most Aetherlings evolve automatically when they reach a certain level (typically Lv.15–18). Battle and win to gain EXP.
- How does breeding work?
- Open the Breeder’s Cottage from the map. Select two different healthy, non-legendary creatures. A baby will hatch for free. Secret type combinations at Lv.20+ produce rare offspring.
- What are the boss battles?
- Tap the 👹 Boss button on the map to challenge a random elemental mini-boss. You need at least one Lv.15 creature to damage them. Defeat all eleven to unlock the Three-Headed Lion.
- What is the Champion’s Gauntlet?
- After defeating all nineteen zone Guardians, you can challenge them all back-to-back with buffed levels. Completing it earns the Gauntlet Champion crown.
- My creature got stuck at 0 HP — what do I do?
- Tap Rest on the map to instantly restore all Aetherlings to full HP, or use a Revive item.
- Where does my progress save?
- Progress is saved automatically on your device. There is no account system and no cloud backup. Deleting the app erases your save.
- Is there multiplayer?
- Virplume is a single-player, offline experience. No accounts, no trading, no leaderboards.
- The app crashed / the game softlocked.
- Force-quit the app (swipe it up) and reopen. Your save should be intact. If it persists, email the developer with your iPhone model and iOS version.
